Margaret Ann (Alexander) Norton

Mrs. Margaret Ann Norton, age 71 of Salisbury exchanged her earthly life for life eternal on, Thursday, April 18, 2024 at her home surrounded by her loving and caring family.  She was born to the late Robert Krider and Martha Alexander Killian, in Rowan County on June 29, 1952.  She was educated in the public schools of Salisbury and furthered her education earning an Associates Degree in Nursing.  She had a fruitful work career over the years, having worked as a Revenue Supervisor with the NY Metropolitan Transit Authority.  She was a member of Woodleaf Baptist Church.

In addition to her husband, she was also preceded in death by a son, Ezkiel Norton.

Family who will cherish fond memories are her son, Timothy Norton, N. Las Vegas, Nevada, daughers, Kim Norton and Lizette Norton both of Salisbury; brothers, Thomas Alexander (Dorothy), Thomas Rabby, Jr., Rodney Krider (Bonnie);all of Salisbury, NC, and Joseph Alexander (Juliet) of Atlanta, Ga.; sisters: Julia Ann Krider (Donnell), Nancy Mitchell (Tyrone), Valerie Washington (James), Vonnie Krider and Robbie Krider all of Salisbury, NC and 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren with an additional birth soon; a host of nieces, nephews cousins and dear friends.

No public viewing.  A committal service will be held at 10:00 a.m.on Wednesday, May 1, 2024 at the US National Cemetery location, 202 Government Road, Salisbury.
