Mr. Donald Ellis, Sr., of Salisbury, passed on, Sunday, January 24, 2016 at Wake
Forest University Baptist Medical Center, Winston-Salem, NC.  He was born in
Salisbury on February 23, 1959 to the late Major & Fannie Ellis.  He was
preceded in death by a sister, Clara Jones and a brother, Charles Ellis.

He worked at Pillowtex.

Survivors are his wife, Debra Ellis of the home (married 36 years); sons; Donald
Jr., Brian, Damon, and Carlo all of Salisbury; daughter's, Sandra Ramseur
(Jimmy), Salisbury; Abril, Concord, Kiarra, Kannapolis, and Brandy, Salisbury.

Service: Visitation: 2:30, Funeral: 3:00, Gethsemane Baptist Church, Salisbury.
