I had to the good fortune to work with Eugene for years at Piedmont Garden and Floral Galleries! He has always been one of my favorite people and I just cried when I learned of his passing. He was just a great friend to me at work and I think we were always both glad to run into each other out in public after he retired. He is going to be missed but how could I begrudge him Heaven! We will laugh together when I get there that he 'one -uped' me and got there first! God is good and Heaven is richer with Eugene there!
