Mrs. Gwendolyn Brown, age, 52, passed, Thursday, December 17, 2015 at Novant Rowan Medical Center, Salisbury.  Mrs. Brown was born in Salisbury on December 5, 1963 to the late Curtis Blair and Elmira Torrence. She graduated from Salisbury High School and attended Rowan Cabarrus Community College.  She was a CNA and worked in Home Health Care.  She attended Lilly's Chapel.  She was predeceased by a brother, Curtis Blair. 

She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Brown, Jr. of the home; daughters, Kenya E. Brown of Salisbury, and Kendra N. Brown of Washington State; and a brother, Donald C. Blair of Salisbury, and numerous family and friends.

Visitation at 10:00 a.m. followed by funeral service at 11:00, Jerusalem Baptist Church.  Eulogist Pastor Peele.  Burial will follow in City Memorial Cemetery.
