Mrs. Jacqueline D. Davis, age 75 of Salisbury, passed, Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at Liberty Commons Nursing Home. She was born in Blacksburg, SC, on August 5, 1941 to the late Eleazer and Rebecca Lowry Davis. She was a graduate of Dunbar High School and was last employed at Dillard's Distribution Center. Mrs. Davis was a member of Rhema Praise & Worship, where she served as a Deaconess.

In addition to her parent's, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clee A. Davis, Sr., (Buck) and a brother, Ceaser Davis.

Survivors include her son, Clee A. Davis, Jr., of the home, Damaris Davis (raised in the home), brothers, L.Z. (Elvia) Davis, Thomas Davis, and Benjamin (Suzette) Davis, Sr., of Salisbury; Horace (Hariet) Davis, E. Spencer; sister's, Mae White and Mary Phillips (Pete), both of Salisbury; grandchildren, Latrevious Ramos Davis and Chandler Davis; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.

Service: Wednesday, March 1, 2017. Visitation: 11:00 a.m. Funeral: 11:30 at Jerusalem Baptist Church, Spencer, NC. Rev. Dr. David L. Bracken, pastor; Rev. Alonzo A. Williams, eulogist. Internment will be held on, Friday, March 3, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the US National Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the home, 526 S. Martin Luther King, Jr., Ave.
