Mrs. Louise Smith Mack age 93 of Salisbury, passed on, Monday, May 8, 2017 at Genesis Health Care, Salisbury. Mrs. Mack was born in Davidson County on March 9, 1924 to the late Brodie Smith and Ruth Hairston Smith. She attended Monroe Street School and Price High School. She was a retired domestic worker, having worked in private homes in New York and North Carolina. She was the widow of Paul Leroy Mack. A grandson, Charles Smith, granddaughter, Rosalyn Smith Kelly and sister, Phyllis Bailey also preceded her in death.

She was a dedicated member of Moore's Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church, Salisbury, where she was a member of the Lay Council and Life Members.

Those who will forever cherish her memories are two daughter's, Shirley Smith and Gloria Smith, both of Salisbury; sisters; Mary James Smith and Evelyn Allison also of Salisbury. Two grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. Funeral service will be held on, Monday, May 15, 2017 at Moore's Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church, 500 Partree Street, Salisbury, NC. Visitation: 11:30 a.m. Funeral 12:00 noon. Committal service will be held on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at the U.S. National Cemetery at 10:00 a.m. Rev. Carolyn D. Bratton, pastor/eulogist.
