What a gentle giant ! What a nice nice man. I knew him from the Pharmacy at the VA and he was polite, respectful and a wonderful person. He always had a smile on his face He will be greatly missed. Condolences to his family. He will be greatly missed

To the family of Mr. Jordan. I am so sorry and sadden to hear of "Bear's", as he was affectionately known, death. Bear was one of the very first people that befriended me over two decades ago when I was a young lady moving from WV to Salisbury to work at the VAMC. Bear helped my daddy move my furniture into my apartment. Over the years our paths would cross, we would always stop to say hello. I asked him on occasion if he recalled that he helped me move and he'd say "yea, I remember that, how's your daddy?" I will always remember his kindness and fellowship he and my now deceased daddy shared. Bear left a loving big impact on those that knew him. I hope he and my daddy have found each other in heaven and have had a laugh about moving my furniture up the apartment complex steps. May God bring you peace at this time, and fond family memories comfort you.
