Deborah Rhodes Obituary

Ms. Deborah Gaye Rhodes, age 52 of Salisbury, passed, Friday, November 9, 2018 in Raleigh. She was born on December 11, 1965 in Rowan County to the late Paul Augustus Rhodes, Sr., and Josphine Cowan Rhodes. She received her GED from Rowan Cabarrus Community College. She was last employed with the City of Raleigh as a transportation driver.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her twin sister, Elizabeth Kaye Rhodes.

Those who remain to cherish her memory are her children; Anthony T. Rhodes, Jeffrey W. Hooker, Jr., Salisbury and LaTisha Rhodes, Charlotte; brothers; Paul A. Rhodes, Jr., Fayetteville and Steve Rhodes, Salisbury; sister, Patricia Ross, Salisbury; grandchildren, Gabrielle Donlap Rhodes, Madison Rhames and Mikayla Everhart; a host of aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins and dear friends.

Service: Saturday, November 17, 2018-Visitation: 1:30 p.m. Funeral-2:00 p.m., at Gethsemane Missionary Baptist Church, 719 S. Caldwell Street, Salisbury, NC. Sr. Elder Jackie Bush, eulogist. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery.
