Edwin Blamo, III Obituary

Mr. Edwin J. Blamo, III, age 81 of Salisbury, passed at his residence on, August 31, 2018. He was born in Liberia, West Africa on, August 17, 1937 to the late Elizabeth Blamo. He was a high school graduate and attended Rowan Cabarrus Community College for one year. He was last employed as a corrections officer with the North Carolina Department of Corrections, until 1992. He was of the Catholic faith.

Those who will forever cherish his memory are his wife, Kate Gromah Blamo of the home; sons, Edwin J. Blamo, IV, Liberia, West Africa and Justin Blamo, Salisbury; one daughter, Elizabeth Blamo of Salisbury. A host of brothers, sisters, nephews, nieces, cousins and dear friends.

Service: Saturday, September 15, 2018-10:00 a.m., at Millford Hills United Methodist Church, 1630 Statesville Blvd. Rev. Jim Parsons, pastor is the eulogist.

Burial will be held on, Monday, September 17, 2018 at Rowan Memorial Park at 10:00 a.m. The family is receiving visitors at the home, located at 407 Laurel Pointe Circle, Salisbury.
