Mr. Ernest Hoyle, age 76 of Salisbury, quietly passed away at his beloved home.on Saturday, June 3, 2017.  Born to the late John Wesley Hoyle, Sr. and Frances Hall Hoyle. Educated in the Gaston County School System, Ernest also attended RCCC where he received his certification in welding. Ernest was employed with Taylor Clay Brick and Tile, where he retired in 2005.

In addition to his parents, who preceeded him in death were his brothers, John (Dub) Hoyle, Jr., Godfrey (Pouch) Hoyle and sisters, Lola and Judy McGlendon, son, Gerald (Pee Wee) Hoyle, grandson, Gerald (Pee Wee) Mason; daughter, Linda (Toute) Hoyle-Kellam, and his favorite, Uncle Joe Hall.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 59 years, Bertie Mae Hoyle; son, Kenneth Hoyle, daughter; Arlene (Melvin) Imes; granddaughter reared in the home, Tatishia Mason; 6 granchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, a host of nieces,nephews and friends.

Service:  Visitation:12:30 p.m. Funeral 1:00 p.m. Thursday, June 8, 2017 at First Calvary Baptist Church, Rev. Leamon Brown, pastor/eulogist.  Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery.

Family will receive friends at the home.
