Jettye Rose (Smith) Donaldson

Mrs. Jettye Rose Smith Donaldson, age 81 of Salisbury, passed, April 4, 2018 at her residence.  She was born in Ludowici, Georgia to the late Catherine Smith.  She was a graduate of West Charlotte High School.  She retired from the Rowan-Salisbury School System as a maintenance worker.  She was a member of Knox Grove Baptist Church, where she served as a Deaconess and church clerk.

In addition to her mother, her husband, Albert Donaldson, and sons, Troy Medlin and Terry Medlin preceded her in death.

She leaves cherished memories to her children, Timothy Medlin (Eva), Las Vegas, Nevada, Michael Medlin (Delores), and Lawrence Medlin (Ann) all of Salisbury and Steve Medlin of New York; 18 grand children and a host of great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on, Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at Knox Grove Baptist Church, 3500 3rd Creek Church Road,  Cleveland; Rev. James Milsap, pastor/eulogist.  Visitation:  2:00 pm and Funeral at 3:00 pm.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
