Linda Houpe Obituary

Ms. Linda L. Houpe, age 62, of Cleveland, NC passed, August 18, 2018 at Gordon Hospice House in Statesville, NC. She was born in Rowan County on January 15, 1956 to the late Plaize Houpe and Mary Ruth Campbell Houpe. She was a graduate of West Rowan High School and attended Mitchell's Cosmetology School. She was last employed with Kewaunee Scientific Corporation, where she worked in the Reisin Department. She was a member of Freedom United Church of God in Cleveland.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters; Mary P,. Houpe and Ellen F. Houpe.

She leaves precious memories to her son, Tavis L. Houpe, Edgefield, SC; brothers; Ernest C. Houpe (Malvia) Plaize W. Houpe and James A Houpe (Prudence) all of Cleveland, NC; and sister; Linda Dalton, Harmony, NC, and a host of other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held on, Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at 12:00 p.m., at Rock Hill Church of Christ, 4995 Needmore Road, Cleveland. Hairston Funeral Home is serving the Houpe family. Online condolences may be sent to; hairstonfh.com
