Mr. Aaron Wesley Johnson, Sr., affectionately called "Cornbread", of 1705 South Main Street, Apt.#2, Salisbury, NC died Monday, July 21, 2008 at his residence.

He was born November 17, 1955 in Salisbury, NC to the late Jesse and Rachel Lucinda Williams Johnson.

He attended Salisbury High School and was last employed at Poplin Auto World.

In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by a brother, Andy Mobley and a sister Maranda "Bird" Hart.

Survivors are son, Aaron Wesley Johnson, Jr.,Chester, CT; daughter, Sherika Massey Pate (Robert), Lexington, NC; brother, Michael Johnson, Salisbury, NC; sister, Betty Hargrave, Salisbury, NC; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins; a best friend, Garrick Bennett, Salisbury; NC.

Memorial service will be 3:00 pm Friday, August 1, 2008 at Hairston's Memorial Chapel with Apostle Ray Taylor, Officiating.
