Abraham Teya Morris

Mr. Abraham Teya Morris, age 49 of Salisbury, passed unexpectedly on April 13, 2023.  He was born 1974 in Bong Hospital, Bong Mine, Bong County, Liberia.

He attained his primary education at Gorlorhumah public school.  He later moved to Bong Mines and enrolled at Nyean Lutheran School and moved to Monrovia.  He enrolled at the Richard C. Lawson High School.  After he graduated, he relocated to the USA in 2001.

He studied at the Pennco Tech, and graduated as Automotive Technology Modified. 

He had three boys, Abraham T. Morris, Jr., Jamal Cruscoe and Kevin K. Morris.  Kevin was severely injured in the car accident and later died.

He is survived by two mothers, Hawa Morris of Liberia and Kweta Dolo of Salisbury, NC; two sisters, Asata Morris, Fatu Morris and Hawa Morris; two brothers, Ruben N. Morris, John Morris and a host of other relatives including aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins and dear friends.

Service:  Saturday, May 6, 2023 at North Main Baptist Church, 1501 N. Main St., Salisbury, NC.  Visitation:10:30-11:00.  Funeral begins promptly at 11:00 a.m.  Burial will follow in Rowan Memorial Park Cemetery.
