Mr. Albert "Charlie" Mills, Jr., age 53, died, Sunday, December 21, 2008 at Magnolia Gardens, Spencer. He was born December 11, 1955 in Iredell County to Rebecca D. Mills Atkins and the late Albert Mills, Sr. He was a graduate of North Rowan High School. He was last employed with Roberson Real Estate. Mr. Mills was a former member of Shady Grove Baptist Church, East Spencer, NC. Survivors are his mother, Rebecca D. Mills Adkins of the home; daughter, Crystal Evette Mills, USAF stationed at Yokota Air Force Base, Yokota, Japan; step children, Michael Lytle, Loganville, Ga., and Detra Ford, Albequergue, NM;, brother, James F. Adkins (Michelle), Baton Rouge, La., three grandchildren, Jah Archie Mills, Dwayne Ford, Jr., and Destini S. Ford; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral will be 3:30 p.m., Saturday, December 27, 2008 at Shady Grove Baptist Church, East Spencer, NC with the Pastor, Rev. Alonza Williams, officiating. Visitation will be 3:00 p.m. prior to the funeral service. Burial will be in Byers Cemetery.
