Ms. Alicia Denise Allison, age 39 of Salisbury, passed, Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at Forsyth Medical Center, Winston-Salem, NC.  She was born in Rowan County on July 31, 1978 to Barbara Allison Kelly and Dwayne Jones.  She was a graduate of North Rowan High School and was affiliated with Shady Grove Baptist Church.  She was the organizer/founder of the Lupus Foundation of Salisbury.

She leaves precious memories to her mother, Barbara Allison Kelly of Salisbury; her father, V. Dwayne Jones (Varnetta-step-mother) of Greensboro, brothers; Aaron Jones of Greensboro, Kendrick Harper and Jarvis Stoddard both of Salisbury; sisters; Cassandra Allison (Dwayne), Adrienne Allison (Curtis) and Jaleena Kelly all of Salisbury; uncles, Henry Allison, Salisbury and James Jones (Kenya), Greensboro, aunts; Priscilla Price (Leroy) and Edith E. Hunter all of Greensboro; three special nieces; Jasmine, Paige, and Brittney; one nephew, Terrell, and other extended relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be held on, Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at Jerusalem Baptist Church, 1570 N. Long St., Spencer, NC.  Visitation: 12:00 pm.  Funeral: 1:00 pm.  Rev. Timothy Bridges, Pastor of Shady Grove Baptist Church is the eulogist.  Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the home of her mother, Barbara Kelly at 632 Statesville Blvd., Salisbury.
