Anthony Thomas Rhodes

Mr. Anthony Thomas Rhodes, age 44 of Salisbury, passed on, March 31, 2023 in Salisbury. He was born in Rowan County on February 3, 1979 to the late Deborah Rhodes. He was a high school graduate and was last employed as a machine operator.

In addition to his mother, Deborah Rhodes, his grandparents, Paul Augustus Rhodes and Josephine Rhodes and a son, Angel also preceded him in death. 

Those who remain to cherish fond memories of his life are his sister, LaTisha Rhodes, Charlotte, brother; Jeffrey Hooker, Jr., daughter, Gabrielle Elizabeth Dunlap-Rhodes, Cleveland, nieces; Madison Rhames, and MiKayla Everhart, aunt, Patricia Ross, Salisbury, uncles; Steven Rhodes, Salisbury, Paul Rhodes, Jr., Fayetteville, longtime supporter and confidante, Tina Dunlap.  Friends that became family and family that bonded stronger through the favor of Him; Antoinette Fleming, Angela Derr and Ericka Rhodes and a host of cousins, friends and other extended relatives are left to honor his memory.

Service: Saturday, April 8, 2023-Visitation 12:30 p.m.-1:00 p.m. Funeral begins promptly at 1:00. St. Luke Baptist Church, 410 Hawkinstown Road, Salisbury, NC. Rev. Marcus Fairley, pastor.  Pastor Sophia McBride eulogist with Pastor Whitney Rhodes, officiating.
