Mrs. Barbara jean Lyerly Harper, age 72, of 370 Harper Miller Rd., Cleveland, NC passed Tuesday, February 1, 2010 at the Brian Nursing Center.

Mrs. Harper was born July 20, 1937 in Rowan County to the late Hugh and Sadie Holland Lyerly.

She was a graduate of R. A. Clement High School, Cleveland, NC with honors. She was a homemaker and member of Mt. Vernon Presbyterian Church, Cleveland.

Her husband, Robert Lee Harper preceded her in death January 26, 2008.

Those who shall cherish her memory are sons, Robert H. Harper (Angie), Salisbury, Donald D. Harper and Ronnie Ray Harper (Anita) both of Cleveland, NC; daughters, Rene Crump (Norman), Gastonia, NC, Sylvia Price adn Yunikka Price both of Cleveland, NC; sister, Mary Price, Salisbury; eleven grandchildren, three great grandchildren; brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral service will be Friday, February 5, 2010 at 1:00 pm and visitation at 12:00 pm with the Pastor, Rev. Emery Rann, officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

The family shall recieved friends at the home of a son, Ronie Ray Harper (Anita) of 210 Baker Mill Rd., Cleveland, NC.
