Bettie (Murdock) Davis

Mrs. Bettie M. Davis, of Woodleaf, NC passed away on Sunday, February 14, 2021 at Novant Health Rowan Medical Center. She was born June 15, 1948, the daughter of the late Juanita Jackson Murdock and Booker T. Murdock Sr.  She was a graduate of R. A. Clement High School and previously worked as a dietitician with Rowan Medical Center.

In addition to her parent's, she was preceded in death by husband, Stephen N. Davis, Sr., brother, Nelson Murdock and sister, Dottie Murdock.

Mrs. Murdock is survived by her son of the home; Stephen N. Davis ll, two brothers; Norman Murdock, Salisbury, and Gary Murdock, Woodleaf;  two sisters, Ann Cline(Melvin) Salisbury, Maria Maxwell(Preston) Louisiana, one grandchild and a host of other relatives and friends. 

Graveside services will be held Saturday, February 20, 2021 at 12:00 noon at Freedom United Church of God, church cemetery, 155 Hart Rd. Woodleaf, NC, with Bishop Willie Joe Gray officiating.   Condolences may be sent to www.hairstonfh.com.
