Mr. Charlie "Charles" Edward Culbertson, Jr., age 52, of 3665 Hickory Place, Salisbury ,NC passed Wednesday, January 27, 2010 at Rowan Medical Center, Salisbury. He was born January 29, 1957 in Salisbury to Mary Piper Culbertson and the late Charlie Edward Culbertson, Sr. He was a graduate of Salisbury High School. He was a loyal employee of HBD where he was employed for approximately 25 years. Mr. Culbertson was a very given person to many charitable organizations. Those who survive are his mother, Mary Ann Piper Culbertson of the home; brother, Theodore "Tex" M. Culbertson, Fayetteville, NC; Reginald Daniel Culbertson, Detroit, MI; sisters, Charlene Ramona Culbertson, Phoenix, Angela Yvette King (Michael), Salisbury, NC and Pamela Ann Davis (Craig "Pete"), Charlotte, NC; 5 nephews, 4 nieces, 5 great nephews 8 great nieces; a host of aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services will be Tuesday, 1:00 pm and visitation 12:00 noon at Trinity Presbyterian Church, USA with the Pastor, Rev. Olen Bruner, Officiating and Elder Timothy Bates, CLP Eulogist. Burial will be in City Memorial Cemetery.
