Mr. Clinton Leonardo "Rake" Hall age 54 of 109 Krider St., Cleveland, NC died, Friday, September 5, 2008 at his residence. Mr. Hall was born in Rowan County on December 1, 1953 to the late John Anderson Hall and Roannah Clement Hall. In addition to his parent's he was preceded in death by a sister, Willa Hall Powell and a brother, Charles A. Hall. He was a 1971 graduate of West Rowan High School and attended Southwood Jr. College and Lees McCrae College. He was last employed with Grinnelle Fire Protection Systems as a Fabricator. He was previously married to Mrs. Robin Nadean Woods Hall of Indianapolis, Ind., and was a member of Third Creek A.M.E. Zion Church.

Survivors include sons, Quincy Hall (Tenika R. Hall) of Cleveland; and Dadrain Hall, Indianapolis, Ind.; brothers; Leonard A. Hall (Mildred), and Vernon Mitchell Hall all of Cleveland; and Pressley Hall (Deann), Salisbury; sisters, Eva Hall Davis, Cleveland; Ruth Hall Avery, both of Cleveland, Bertha Hall Stevenson (Harry), Greensboro and Gwendolyn Hall Rankin, Statesville; one grandson, Joshua Karon Lee Hall, Cleveland; two aunts, Rosina Clement Howell, and Laura Clement Avery both of Salisbury. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Service: Monday, September 8, 2008 at 2:30 p.m. at Third Creek A.M.E. Zion Church, Cleveland. Rev. Donnie Kent, Pastor officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Visitation: 2:00 p.m. prior to service at the church. Other times, the family will greet friends at the home of his brother and sister-in-law, Leonard and Mildred Hall, 107 Krider St., Cleveland, NC.
