Mr. Clyde Julius Colson, age 67, of 635 Statesville Blvd., Salisbury passed Monday, at Rowan Regional Medical Center. He was born April 19, 1942 in Salisbury to the late Claude and Mary Elizabeth Hampton Colson. He was a graduate of J. C. Price High School. He retired as a security guard. Survivors are sons, Claude Edward Bailey, Fayetteville, NC, Mustafa Shakur, Chapel Hill, NC, Steve Colson, Durham, NC, Cornelius Colson and Dennis Miller Colson both of Salisbury; daughter, Linda Cowan-Jackson, Salisbury; step sister, Pam Austin, Salisbury; 10 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Memorial service 11:00 am Friday and vistiation at 10:30 am at Gethsemane Missionary Baptist Church. Bishop Ambus Bailey, officating.
