Mr. Curtis Lee Connor, age 73, of 1132 Albany Ave., Hartford, CT died at his residence Tuesday, January 27, 2009.

Mr. Connor was the son of the late Elsie Connor and Ferva Cowan. He was a graduate of the Rowan County School System. He was a retired truck driver and a veteran of the US Army having served during the Korean Conflict.

Survivors are daughters, Minister Joyce Simpson (Kenneth), Salisbury, NC, Tammy D. Connor, Tracy Hicks, Towanya Pendergrass (Jerry) all of Charlotte, NC; ten grandchildren; five great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.

Funeral services will be 12:30 pm Thursday, Febuary 5, 2009 at Outreach Christian Tabernacle with the Pastor, Apostle Ray Taylor, Officiating and Minister Joyce Simpson, Eulogist. Visitation will from 12:00 pm until 12:30 pm. Burial with Military Rites will in the US National Cemetery.
