Dennis Renard Eller, Sr., age 54 of 1022 West Horah St., died, Saturday, June 27, 2009 at Carolinas Medical Center Main, Charlotte. He was born, September 25, 1954 to the late Richard Taft Eller, Sr., and the late Irma Alexander Eller. He was a graduate of Salisbury High School and was last employed at Norandal International.

He was a member of Gethsemane Missionary Baptist Church. He also attended The Glorious Emmanuel Pentecostal Church, East Spencer.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Louvania Wilkes, and brothers, Ulysses Eller and Billy Eller.

Those who survive are his wife, Betty Sanders Eller; sons, Dennis Eller, Jr., Florence, S.C., Cedric Robingson and Donelle Eller, both of Salisbury, and Marcus Eller (Mary), Ft. Bragg; daughters, Ashlee Blackwell, Arielle Eller and Demitrius Canon all of Salisbury; brothers, Richard Eller, Jr., (Katherine), Landis, and Charles Eller, High Point; sisters, Betty Black (Paul), East Spencer, Irma Eller, Paterson, N.J., Marketta Witherspoon (Elder Donnie), Salisbury, and Valjean Bridgett (Vincent), St. Cloud, Fl;, a grandson reared in the home, Keyshawn Eller; nine grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Service and Visitation: Funeral will be Thursday, July 2, 2009 at 12:30 p.m. and visitation at 12:00 p.m. at Gethsemane Missionary Baptist Church with the Pastor, Rev. Dr. Clary Phelps, officiating. Burial will be in the U.S. National Cemetery with military rites by the Honor Guard.
