Dr. Laura Ann Washington

 Dr. Laura A. Washington of Salisbury, entered eternal rest at her residence, on, Sunday, November 17, 2024. She was the wife of Pastor Samuel A. Washington of Solid Rock Church of God, Salisbury.

She was born in Rahday, New Jersey to the late Elijah Patterson and the late Ophelia English. She received her Doctorate in Administration and was employed as an accountant with Sea-Land Services, Inc.  She served in the ministry along side her husband at Solid Rock Church of God.

She is the mother of Andrea Spears, (Chris), Plainfield, NJ, and Alanna Foster, Charlotte, NC; the sister of Elijah Patterson, Jr., (Marie) and Ruth Jones (Lawrence). Grandmother of four grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She will be remembered by the faithful church members of Solid Rock Church of God, other relatives and friends.

Service will be held on, Saturday, November 23, 2024.  Viewing 9:00 a.m. Funeral 10:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church, 929 Dill Avenue, Linden, New Jersey 07036. Available on Facebook Live stream: First Baptist Church, Linden, New Jersey.   Burial will follow in Rosehill Cemetery, 792 E. Edgar Road,  Linden, New Jersey.
