Edna Cole Obituary

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our dear friend, Ms. Edna Cole who passed, Monday, February 5, in Huntersville, NC.  She was born in Liberia on December 13, 1961 to the late Moses Kennedy and Elizabeth Fanny Fagans Kennedy.  One of seven children. She was last employed as a caregiver, a job she thoroughly enjoyed.


In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by four sibling.


Edna was a very giving person.  She loved her family and she loved cooking for family and friends.  


Those will forever cherish fond memories of Edna are her six children, Eugene Sensi Cole, Jennah Tina Cole, Gladys Maturi Cole, Manita Musu Cole, Edna Tetee Cole and William Alantanto Cole; 14 grandchildren;  5 great-grandchildren; 3 living sibling and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and dearest friends. 


A memorial service celebrating the awesome life of Edna will be held on March 9, 2024 at Milford Hills United Methodist Church, 1630 Statesville Blvd, Salisbury, NC from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. Repast will follow at 3:30 p.m. at the Salisbury Civic Center, 315 Martin Luther King, Jr. Ave., Salisbury, NC
