Elizabeth (Fagans) Kennedy Obituary

Mrs. Elizabeth Fagans Kennedy, age 87 of Salisbury, passed, Thursday, June 21, 2018 at the Laurels of Salisbury.  Mrs. Kennedy was born in Liberia, West Africa on May 15, 1931 to the late Yanpue and Benjamin Fagans.  She graduated high school in Liberia.  She was last employed as a housekeeper with Day's Inn.  She was a member of the Old Concord Road Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Salisbury.


In addition to her parent's, she was predeceased by her husband, Moses Kennedy, a son, Steven Kennedy and a daughter, Isabel Wilson.


Precious memories remain with her children; Benjamin Kennedy (Marilyn), Salisbury; Franklin Kennedy, Liberia, West Africa; Lincoln Kennedy, (Laura), Salisbury; Roseline Kennedy Sundufu and Edna Cole, of Salisbury; 22 grandchildren, and a host of great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.


Service:  Saturday, July 14, 2018. Visitation:  2:00 pm.  Funeral:  2:30 pm- Old Concord Road, Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 3411 Old Concord Road, Salisbury. Jerry Blackwell, officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery, West Innes St., Salisbury, NC.


The family will receive visitor's at the home of her daughters, Edna Cole and Roseline Sundufu, 606 Clay Street, Salisbury, NC.
