Geneva Ruth (Null) Kirksey

Mrs. Geneva Null Kirksey, age 94 of Salisbury, passed on, Thursday, February 1, 2018 at the Brian Center.  She was born in Iredell County on August 24, 1923 to the late John Null and Carrie Josephine Holshouser Null.  She was a graduate of Rockwell High School and was a homemaker.  She was a member of Rockwell First Baptist Church, Rockwell, NC, where she served in the Children's Sunday School and was a teacher in the church Bible School.

In addition to her parents, her husband, Ernest Lee Kirksey, Sr., brothers, Samuel, Howard, Charles, James, Johnny and sister Lola preceded her in death.

Those who remain with cherished memories are her sons, Ernest Lee Kirksey, Jr., and Michael Eugene Kirksey, both of Rockwell; brothers; Franklin Null (Barbara), of Salisbury and Tom Null (Carol), Georgia; sisters; Mary Deal of Salisbury and Margaret Ann Morgan (Reid) of Cornelius; five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Service:  Visitation; 1:45 p.m. until 2:30 p.m.  Funeral: 2:30 p.m.on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at Rockwell First Baptist Church, 8630 Hillcrest Drive, Rockwell, NC, 28138. Rev. Matthew Laughter, pastor.  Rev. James C. Kirksey eulogist. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
