Mrs. Geneva Perkins Miller "Ma Jence", age 101 of 660 Shannon Drive, Salisbury, died, Friday, August 1, 2008 at her residence.

Mrs. Miller was born November 4, 1906 in Cabarrus to the late William and Kattie Faggart Perkins.

She was educated in the public schools of Cabarrus County. She was a retired domestic worker.

Mrs. Miller was a member of Thomas Street Church of Christ.

Her husband, Thomas Miller and a sister, Catherine Wilson Grier preceded her in death.

Survivors are a grandson, James Edward Grier, Sr. (Lessie), Salisbury, NC; six grandchildren, four great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Memorial Service will be Friday, August 8, 2008 at 3:00 pm with Brother Richard Hare, officiating.
