George Calvin Hines

Mr. George C. Hines, age 83, passed, Thursday, September 4, 2020 at the Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis, NC., he was born in Sampson County, on March 21, 1937 to the late James and Mary Hines. He departed this life on September 3, 2020 at the Tucker Hospice House, in Kannapolis, NC. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Leroy Hines, and James Wilbert Hines. One sister, Juanita Payne, and a brother in-law, Stanley Vandervort. He leaves to mourn: Wife, Sandra Hines of the home, One son, Dwight Hines,of Rocky Mount, NC, Stepson, Shrone Reese of Charlotte, NC. Two stepdaughters, Tasha Belizaire of the home, and Tuwanna McNeely, of Kannapolis, NC. Three sisters, Dr.Lillian(Ezra) Spearman, of Fayetteville, NC, Mary(Ronnie)Grooms, of Fayetteville, NC., and Blessie Vandervort, of Hope Mills, NC. Two brothers, Neil Hines, of Durham, NC, and Robert(Joyce) Hines, of Hope Mills, NC. Two sister in-laws, Yvonne Wonson of Queens, NY, and Fay Scott, of Charlotte, NC, brother in-law, Jerry McNeely of Queens, NY.   Eight grandchildren, one great-grandson, and a very special Godson, Prince West.
