Mr. James Roosevelt Culbertson, Sr., age 67, affectionately called "Little James was the son of the late Lembe and Annie Blair Cuthbertson, Sr. He was born April 28, 1945 in Rowan County.

On Monday, February 25, 2013, at the Laurels of Salisbury, Mr. Culbertson entered into eternal life.

He attended R. A. Clement High School, Cleveland, NC. He retired from US Postal Service as a truck driver.

Mr. Culbertson was a member of Cedar Grove AME Zion Church, Cleveland, NC where he was a former member of the Choir.

He is also preceded in death by sisters, Doris Robinson and Annie Bell Gilchrist; brothers, James Cuthbertson and Lembe Cuthbertson, Jr.

Those who shall forever cherish his memory is his wife, Queen P. Cuthbertson, Woodleaf, NC; sons, Stacy Price, Spartanburg, SC, Nicholas Willingham, Winston-Salem, NC and Corey Griffin, Sr. (Darlene), Salisbury, NC; daughter, Felicia Beaty (Darryl), Salisbury, NC; brother, Shirley Cuthbertson (Virginia), Woodleaf, NC; sisters, Mary Price, Salisbury, NC and Eva Morring, Lahman, MD; grandchildren, Tyler Kluttz, Jeremy Price, Staci Price, Diamond Price, Tryee Stiller, Corey, Griffin, Jr., Blessed Griffin, Darius Beaty, Clarissa Beaty, foster grandchildren, Bryson Bost, Antionette Turner, great grandchildren, Josiah Minter and Joshua Minter; special friend, Sally Sanchez, Woodleaf, NC brother-in-law, George Gilchrist, sister-in-law, Lilly Price, brother-in-law, Thomas Price; a host of nieces, nephews including a special nephews, Jemall Cuthbertson and Darrell Price, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be Sunday, March 3, 2013 at 3:00 pm and visitation at 2:00 pm at Cedar Grove AME Zion Church with the Pastor, Rev. Dr. Bertha Pittman, officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
