Mr. Jerry L. Brown of 1206 Dogwood Lane, Salisbury entered into eternal life Sunday, June 21, 2009 at Rowan Regional Medical Center, Salisbury.

Mr. Brown was born January 27, 1947 in Winston-Salem, NC to the late Tillman and Sarah Simpson Brown, Sr.

Mr. Brown attended J. C. Price High School. He was a self employed carpenter.

A member of Mt. Zion CME Church, he was a former Trustee and member of the Men's Choir.

Those who shall cherish his memory are a daughter, Sherry McCree (Willie), Rockwell, NC; brothers, Calvin Brown (Mary) and Robert Brown both of Salisbury, NC; sister, Mary Brown, Washington, DC; sister-in-law, Martha Brown, Salisbury, NC; a host of neices, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral Service will be Monday, June 30, 2009 at 11:30 am with visitation at 11:00 am at Mt. Zion CME Church with the Pastor, Rev. Dr. Beverly Rose, officiating. Burial will be at Rowan Memorial Park.
