Mr. Joseph Jones Jr., (Brorhter Yusuf), of Pearl St., Salisbury, NC, passed on, November 12, 2015 at Norvant Rowan Regional Medical Center.  He was born on, May 15, 1945 in Newark, NJ, to Mary Harris and Joseph Jones, Sr.  Brother Yu served in the Army for 4 years and went to Vietnam.  He worked for Parks and Recreation for 35 years in the City of Montclair.  He also lived in Montclair for over 40 years, where he went to public school.  Brother Yu loved to play "Bingo", sell oils. 

Joseph is survived by his wife, Rashaan Jones (married for 22 years); two children, AJane't Jones, Yanasia Jones; sister, Rose, mother-in-laws, Tonya Meade, Monique Wolfe and lots of nieces, and nephews.

He was a sincere and kind person.  He will be missed by many.  Funeral will be held at the US National Cemetery in Salisbury, on Friday, November 20, 2015 at 11:00 a.m..  Family will receive guest following the funeral at 1011 Archer Farm Drive, Salisbury.
