Mrs. Juanita Lavenia Redmon West, age, 62 of E. Franklin St., died, Saturday, October 10, 2015 at her residence.  She was born, July 26, 1953 to John Frank Smith and Eldora Brown. Mrs. West was a graduate of T.C. Williams High School, Alexandria, Va.  She previously worked at GDX.  She attended Fairview Heights Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Otis Eugene West, Jr., of the home; son, Minister Reggie Redmon (Colletta) of Statesville and Enos Redmon, Jr., of Salisbury; step-sons, Jason West, Oshon West and Aaron West; daughters; Lolita Brown Alston (Harry) of Charlotte and Nikki Davis (Barry) of Atlanta, Ga.; step-daughter, Destiney West of New York, N.Y.; 18 grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Service & Visitation: Funeral services will be, Saturday, October 17, 2015 at Gethsemane Baptist Church, Salisbury, with the son, Minister Reggie Redmon, eulogist.  Visitation will be at 12 noon, with funeral following at 1:00 p.m.  Burival will follow in Oakwood Cemetery.
