Mr. Larry Mitchell of 1006 Lakewood Dr., Salisbury entered into eternal life on June 10, 2009 at Rowan Regional Medical Center.

He was born June 12, 1950 in Salisbury to the late Rose Mary Smith Mitchell and the late Thomas Mitchell.

Mr. Mitchell was a graduate of Dunbar High School. He was late employed with Hoechst Celeanse/ KOSA.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers, Christopher Mitchell and Edward Darnell Mitchell.

Those who shall forever cherish his memory are his wife, Janice J. Mitchell, Salisbury, NC; son, Duane Mitchell (Shonda), Garner, NC; daughters, Dionne Mitchell, Spencer, NC and Dawn Mitchell Bautista (Cesar), Salisbury, NC; brother, Jerry Mitchell (Sylvia), Stratford, CT; sister, Linda Finger, Salisbury; NC; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Memorial will be Monday, June 15, 2009, at 12:00 noon and visitation at 11:30 am with the Reverend Paul Jones, officiting. Burial will be in City Memorial Cemetery.
