Ms. Loretta McCullough, age 74 of Salisbury, passed on April 2, 2017 at the Glenn Kiser Hospice House. Ms. McCullough was born in Salisbury on, January 4, 1943 to the late John and Louvenia Boyd McCullough. She was educated in the Rowan County public schools. She was a homemaker. She was a faithful member of Hall's Chapel Primitive Baptist Church.
Those who will cherish her memories are her daughter, Betty (Doot) McCullough and son, Kenneth McCullough both of Salisbury; brothers, John McCullough (Grace) Nashville, Tenn.; Archie McCullough (Vickie) Atlanta, Ga., and Marvin Carr, Salisbury; sisters, Betty Jo McCullough, Salisbury, Tammie Ford (Brentin), Kannapolis, Beverly Allen (Henry), Cleveland, Lillian, Brown, Atlanta, Ga.; Marie Harris, and Martha Davis, both of Salisbury; one granddaughter, Alisha Baldwin (Jay), great-granddaughter, Janiya Baldwin, and great-grandson, Jamison "Koe" Baldwin, all of Salisbury.
Service: Sunday, April 9, 2017 at Hall's Chapel Primitive Baptist Church. Visitation: 2:00 p.m. and funeral 3:00 p.m., Rev. Richard Johnson, pastor/eulogist. Burial will be held on Monday, April 10, 2017 at 11:00 a.m., Oakwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the home of her daughter, Ms. Betty McCullough, 460 Nicholas Run, Salisbury.
