Macksel Allen

Mr. Macksel Allen, age 77 of Kingstown, NC, passed, Thursday, September 26, 2019 at the W.G.Hefner Medical Center.  He was born on October 17, 1941 in Oconee, South Carolina to the late William Allen, Sr., and Emma Holden Allen.  He was a high school graduate, and was last employed as a cook.  He was a veteran of the United States Army.

In addition to his parent's, he was preceded in death by brothers, Olin Allen, Jessie Daviol Allen, and Coliln Allen; sisters, Corrine Allen Poole, Bessie Ruth Allen Johnson and Rena Rogers. He was formerly married to, Necia S. Allen, who also preceded him in death.

Survivor's include his wife, Kay Frances Norris Allen of the home; daughter's, Tonjia LaPrince Allen, Columbia, SC; and Melinda Allen, Shelby, NC; brother, William Allen, Jr., Dallas. Texas; 2 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Committal service with military honors will be held on, Wednesday, October 2, 2019 at the US National Cemetery, 501 Statesville Blvd., Salisbury, 1:00 p.m. Hairston Funeral Home, Inc., is serving the Allen family with sincere sympathy and compassion.  Online condolences may be sent to, hairstonfh.com.
