Mae Frances Thompson

Mrs. Mae Frances Thompson, age 93 passed on, Wednesday, November 12, 2025 in

High Point, NC. She was a native of Salisbury, NC.  She was born in Union County

to the late, Joseph Hasty and the late Ethel Blakeney Hasty.  She retired from

PPG Industries after 25 years in manufacturing.  She was the widow of the late

Arlee Whiteford Thompson, Sr.  She was of the Baptist faith and a member of the

Turtles Club, a group she thoroughly enjoyed with many of her friends.

In addition to her parents and husband, a daughter, Delette Lewis passed

November 13, 2025.

Those who remain to cherish her long life and memories are her sons, Arlee

Thompson, Jr., Salisbury; Nathan Thompson, and Terry Thompson both of Spencer;

daughters, Beverly Parks (husband-Walter), Salisbury, Jennifer Underwood (husband-Michael),

Greensboro, and Angela Morris, High Point; A sister, Lorene Roberson, East

Spencer; 17 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, in-laws and a host of nieces,

nephews, extended family and dear friends.

Graveside service will be held on, Wednesday, November 19, 2025 at Rowan

Memorial Park-11:00 a.m.
