SALISBURY - Malinda Jane Wyatt Henderson, age 89, of 1417 Old Wilkesboro Road, died Friday, March 7, 2008, at Rowan Regional Medical Center.

Service: The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Moore's Chapel AME Zion Church with burial at Union Chapel AME Zion Church cemetery, Lexington.

Visitation: Visitation will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the church.

She was born December 26, 1918, in Davidson County to the late John Douglas Wyatt and Janet Elizabeth Chunn Wyatt. She attended the public schools of Davidson County and retired as a domestic worker.

She was a member of Moore's Chapel AME Zion Church, Salisbury, where she participated in many organizations of the church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William "Bill" Clinton Henderson, and son William "Billy" Henderson.

Survivors are brothers Rev. Rufus Wyatt (Brenda), Lexington; sisters Nancy Hill (R.E.), Lexington, and Altie Wyatt, both of Lexington; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
