Mary Louise Smith, age 61, daughter of the late George and Louisa Cowan Smith, Sr. was born September 3, 1946 in Lexington, NC. She departed this life Tuesday, June 17, 2008 at Rowan Regional Medical Center. She was educated in the public schools of Davidson County.

She was last employed at Genesis Eldercare, Salisbury, NC. She was a member of Thomas Street Church of Christ, Salisbury, NC.

Funeral will be 2:00 pm and visitation at 1:30 pm Friday at Rose of Sharon Holiness Church with the pastor officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
