Matthew Earl Foxworth

Mr. Matthew Earl Foxworth of Charlotte, NC, passed, Tuesday, September 24 2024 at Atrium Health Cabarrus Hospital, Concord, NC.  He was born in Westchester, New York on October 13, 1965 to the late Edward Foxworth, Jr., and the late Jewel Battle.  He was a college graduate and a veteran of the United States Army.  He was last employed in Waste Water Management with the Division of the Military.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Lauraine Punter Foxworth of the home; daughters, Keaba Bigbee (Benny), Atlanta.Ga., and Natasha Moore (Keshawn), San Antonio, Texas; step-daughters, Thessalonians Harris, Charlotte, NC and Shahema Thomas, St. Thomas, USVI,  brothers, Edward Foxworth, II, Detroit, Mi., and Jeffrey Foxworth, Charlotte, NC; sisters; Stephanie Foxworth, Gastonia, NC and Carlitha Foxworth-Dulin, Charlotte, NC; grandchildren; Jasaih Bigbee, Xavier Bigbee and Celine Moore, a hosts of other relatives and friends.

Graveside service 11:45 a.m., Wednesday, October 9, 2024 at the US National Cemetery, 501 Statesville Blvd., Salisbury, NC  28144.

Public viewing:  Tuesday, October 8, 2024 from 1-3 at the funeral home, 703 S. Main St., Salisbury, NC  28144.  Mask required.
