Mrs. Myrtle Louise Heggins Fisher, age 93, passed, Saturday, July 2, 2016 at the Kiser Hospice House, Salisbury.  Mrs. Fisher was born to the late John & Annie Heggins on, December 16, 1922.  She attended the County School of Salisbury, "Jump & Run".  She retired from Dolly Madison Furniture as a Sample Maker.  She was a foster mother for a few years.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Henry Fisher and her sibling, brothers; James, Charlie, William and Jonnie; sisters, Ida and Jannie.

Mrs. Fisher was a dedicated and active member of, Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church (until she became ill), where she was a member of the senior choir, kitchen committee, usher board, missionary society and Sunday School of the Guiding Light Association.  She received several certificates for her endless work at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church.  She will be greatly missed by her church family.

She leaves precious memories to her daughter, Annie Lewis, of the home, grandson, Aaron Lewis and one great-grand son, Jarius Lewis all of Salisbury; adopted daughter, Heazlean Brick of Rock Hill, S. C., adopted and loved grandson, James Brice of Washington, D.C., close cousins, Linda Hinds, of New Jersey,  Johnnie Heggins and Ellen Roberson of Salisbury; numerous nephews, nieces and other relatives.

Service: Wednesday, July 6, 2016. Wake 1:30 p.m. funeral, 2:00 p.m., at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, Salisbury, NC., Pastor, Rev. Jerry Miller, I, officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
