Nelson Thomas, Jr.

Nelson Thomas Jr. age 55 son of the late Nelson Thomas Sr. and Mary Williams Thomas was born November 8 1963 in Brooklyn, NY.  On Monday October 7, 2019 Nelson exchanged this earthy life for life eternal. Nelson was educated in the public schools of Brooklyn, NY. He retired from the City of Salisbury. Even though Nelson was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, he called Salisbury his home.  Nelson enjoyed landscaping and remodeling. Nelson loved the “Commodores.” Nelson was a prankster, a quote by his sister “Moochie” talking loud with nothing to say.  Nelson is also preceded in death by two brothers, Marvin and Michael.

Those who shall forever cherish his memory are his wife, Chloe, his children Nelson Jr. (Nefi), Shaniqwan, Jaylin, Te’Andre, Teneeka, and a host of stepchildren. Grandchildren whom he loved dearly, Connor and Tayquan.

Mother-in-law Angela Owens (Murdock). Host of nieces and nephews.

Memorial service held on, Monday, October 21, 2019, from 2-4, at Jerusalem Baptist Church fellowship hall.
