Patricia Ann (Rankin) Fleming-Dunlap Obituary

Mrs. Patricia Fleming Dunlap, age 60, a devoted mother and grandmother was called home by God on, Monday, November 2, 2015 at Forsyth Medical Center, Winston-Salem, NC, after having a stroke.  She was born in Rowan County on, June 2, 1955 to the Mrs. Leila Belle Fleming Cuthbertson and the late, James Allen.  She was educated in the public schools of Rowan County.  She employed by Guilford & Davidson County School System for more than 10 years.  She was a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.).  She was married to the late John Dunlap, who preceded her in death on October 17, 2015, and step-father, Wyatt Cuthbertson, Sr..


She will always be remembered for her beautiful smile, dimples and her kind heart for others.  She showed great love for her, "girls", grandchildren, and family.


Those who remain and will forever cherish fond memories are her daugthers; Tangila V. Williams (Felton), Lexington, Antina Rankin Jennings (Theodore), Lexington, Jerri A. Rankin (Jermaine), Salisbury, and Sheria T. Rankin (Mario), Lexington; brother, Wyatt Cuthbertson, Jr., Salisbury; sisters; Beulah Tate (Carson), Salisbury, Ruth Fleming (Conrad), Salisbury, Toni Ford (Octavis), Salisbury, Crystal Cuthbertson, and Leila Chambers (Willie), Salisbury; 9 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.


Funeral service will be held on, Monday, November 9, 2015 at Trinity Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), Rev. Olen Bruner, pastor, eulogist.  Visitation 11:00 a.m., funeral begins at 11:30 a.m.   Burial will follow in the U.S. National Cemetery, Statesville Blvd., Salisbury.
