Mr. Rah Muhammad, age 82 of Salisbury, passed, May 15, 2016 at his residence. He was born in Talladega, Alabama May 21, 1933 to the late Mary Taylor Pope and Frank Taylor. He attended high school in Talladega, Alabama. He previously worked with Glass Port-Steel Mill as a Chipper/Welder. He was a member of the Nation of Islam, Mosque, Study Group #36, Charlotte, NC. He is preceded in death by his spouse, Isis Muhammad, daughter, Linda Diane Taylor, son, Larry Lee Miller and great-grand daughter, Adiyah Maria Taylor.
Those who remain to cherish his memory are, daughters, Gloria Jean Simpson (June), Thomasville, NC, and Christine Denise Taylor, Salisbury, NC; sister, Yvonne Taylor Nixon, Pittsburgh, Pa., brother's; Carl Taylor, Calvin Taylor (Wendy) and Henry Taylor; 7 grand children, 26 great-grand children, 23 great-great grandchildren, 3 nieces, 3 nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, 26, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Service: Sunday, May 22, 2016, 3:00 p.m., at Hairston Funeral Home Chapel, 703 South Main St., Salisbury, NC 28144.
