Mr. Reginald Nathaniel Niles, age 82, transitioned from earthly life unto eternal life on April 10, 2009, at Bynwood Nursing Center, Monticello, FL.
He was a graduate of J. C. Price High School and North Carolina College presently North Carolina Central University, Durham, NC.
He was a retired Administrator in the Athletic Business Dept. of Florida A & M University, Tallashasse, FL. He was a longstanding member of the Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. A veteran of World War II, he served with the U. S. Army.
Survivors are a sister, Lee Niles, Salisbury; cousins, Thelma Hargrove, Salisbury and Reverend Robert Hargrove, Philadelphia, PA; goddaughters, Harriet Lancaster Graves, Centreville, VA and Annie Mae Price, Salisbury and other relatives.
Funeral service will be 12:00 noon and visitation at 11:30 am Friday, April 17, 2009 at First Calvary Baptist Church, Salisbury. Burial with Military Rites will be at the US National Cemetery, 501 Statesville Blvd., Salisbury.
