Mr. Robert Brown, age 67, of 11th North Salisbury Ave., Spencer ,NC died Wednesday, June 18, 2008, at his residence.

Mr. Brown was born August 11, 1940 in Northfolk, w.va. the late James D. Brown and Bessie Spencer Harris.

Mr. Brown was educated in the public schools of Northfolk, W.VA. He was last employed with Children's Village Group Home as a Counselor.

Mr. Brown is survived by a son, Robert Brown, Jr.; companion, Bessie R. McGee of the home; stepsons, George McGee, Jr., Charlotte, NC, Tony McGee, Salisbury, NC and Mark McGee, NY, NY; step daughters, Valerie McMiller and Pamela McGee both of Salisbury, NC Missionary Paulette McGee Steele (Elder Gary), Charlotte, NC, Tammy Jones (Tony), Salisbury, NC; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, relatives and friends.

Memorial service will be held 6:00 pm Monday, June 23, 2008, at Hairston Funeral Home, Inc. with Apostle Gerald McGee,officiating.
