Mr. Robert Morrison, age 61 of N. Chapel St., Landis, NC., passed, Sunday, November 20, 2016 at CMC Main, Charlotte, NC.  Mr. Morrison was born ion September 13, 1955 in Mooresville, NC to the late John Morrison, Sr., and Ollie Mae Jones Morrison.  He was a graduate of A.L. Brown High School and was a Veteran of the United States Army.  He attended Marable Memorial A.M.E. Zion Church.  He is predeceased by a brother, Johnnie L,Morrison and a sister, Charlene Cunningham.

Those who will forever cherish his memory are his wife, Cathy Hester Morrison of the home, sons; Christopher Massey, Shard Hester (Nicole), and Neron Hester all of Kannapolis; daughters; Shameka Lipscomb, Julisha Massey and Portia Hester, all of Kannapolis; brother; William Morrison, Kannapolis; sisters, Vertie Grier (Lovette), Charlotte, NC and Melissa Howard (Josephus), Frisco, Texas; uncles; William J.T. Morrison (Mabel), and Billie McClain, both of Lincolnton, NC; aunts; Annabelle Bess of Lincolnton, NC and Eunice Brown of Kannapolis, NC; 9 grandchildren and 1 great-grand child; a host of sister-in-laws; brother-in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation: 1:00.  Funeral-2:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 29, 2016, at, Sandy Ridge AME Zion Church, Rev. Harold Jordan, eulogist, Rev. Clarence J. Shuford, Jr. pastor.  Interment-US National Cemetery- date to be announced.
