Mr. Ronnie Davis, age 57 of 1101 N. Main St., Apt. #2, Salisbury, died, Wednesday, July 29, 2009 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice, Winston-Salem, NC. He was born in Rowan County on June 9, 1952 to the late Nathaniel and Velvie Lee Houpe Davis. He was a graduate of West Rowan High School, Class of "1970". He was previously employed with Mann's Bus & Trucking. He was a member of Moore's Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church, Cleveland, NC.

Suvivors include, a daughter, Barbara J. Davis, Salisbury; brothers, Jerry Davis (Helen), and Stephen Davis (Betty) all of Cleveland, NC; a sister, Betty Grace Davis Connors (Ronnie), Gastonia; nephews, Stephen Davis, Jr., and Jeff Lovelle; nieces, Candy Davis and Stephanie Seller; three great nieces, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Funeral: Wednesday, August 5, 2009 at Moore's Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church, Cleveland, NC, Rev. William Speas, Pastor.

Visitation: 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m at the church. Burial in church cemetery.

The family will receive friends and relatives at the home of his daughter, Barbara Davis, 811 Carpenter Circle, Salisbury, NC 28144.
