Sarah Etheredge

It is with deep sadness and sorrow that we announce the passing of our dear friend, Ms. Sarah Etheredge.  Ms. Etheredge passed on, October 14, 2024 at Kindred Care Hospital in Greensboro, NC. 

Ms. Sarah Etheredge, age 65 of Salisbury, passed, October 14, 2024 in Kindred Care Hospital, Greensboro, NC. She was born in Guilford County on May 5, 1959 to the late John Cherry and the late Jennie Archie. She was last employed as a Personal Care Assistant. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a son, Calvin Brotherton.

Those who remain to cherish fond memories are her sons, Ricky Hoskins, Jr., and Brandon Etheredge; sibling; Robert Archie (Carolyn), Johnny Cherry (Lisa), Tim Whisonant (Angela), Brian Cherry, Jackie Cherry, Tracy Whisonant and Charles Cherry. Five grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral Service: Saturday, October 26, 2024-3:00 p.m. at Hairston Funeral Home Chapel, 703 S. Main St. Salisbury, NC 28144. Visitation: 2:30-3:00.

Public walk through viewing: Friday, October 25, 2024 from 2:00-5:00 at the funeral home. Mask required.
